### **Medical Equipment Engineer or Technician for Antofagasta** ### **Job Objective** Ensure customer satisfaction by keeping equipment installed in laboratories, clinics, and hospitals across the country operational, following company standards and processes. ### **Main Responsibilities** * Perform preventive and corrective maintenance, adhering to defined schedules and protocols. * Participate in equipment installation, replacement, and removal; provide support on complex projects alongside senior engineers. * Apply good documentation practices (GDP) in customer service and internal processes. * Provide remote or telephone support to customers and peers when required. * Maintain a professional image and attitude aligned with the company's service values. * Use company-provided tools responsibly and report any loss or damage. * Escalate and follow up on unresolved issues beyond 24 hours. * Actively participate in work teams when requested by management. * Commit to continuous learning through training sessions and workshops. ### **Requirements** * **Education:** **Technical degree or Engineering in Electronics, Mechanical, or Biomedical fields.** * **Experience:** Minimum 2 years in medical equipment maintenance/repair. * **Languages:** Intermediate English. * **Desirable knowledge:** Laboratory equipment. * **Competencies:** Effective communication, teamwork, planning, and organization. ### **Tools Provided** * Complete work equipment (e.g., computer, mobile phone). ### **Position Conditions** **Location:** Remote under Article 22 – **Antofagasta** **Work Schedule:** Article 22 **Contract Type:** Fixed-term, with possibility of extension to indefinite contract based on performance Are you passionate about technical service and continuous improvement?
