Integration into a dynamic team focused on safety ACT S.A. is seeking a Risk Prevention Advisor to join BHP operations (MEL/Spence) in the Northern Zone, with a strong focus on fieldwork and direct technical advisory support to operations. Position Objective Ensure compliance with current legal regulations and client HSEC standards, promoting a preventive culture, critical risk control, and continuous improvement in occupational safety and health. Functions and Responsibilities - Provide on-site advisory support for the implementation and compliance of the Occupational Safety and Health Management System. - Support the development and control of preventive tools (ART, AST, work permits, checklists, among others). - Conduct planned inspections and observations, identifying deviations and managing corrective actions. - Administer and update risk matrices (IPER/MIPER), ensuring proper implementation of critical controls. - Verify compliance with occupational health surveillance protocols and applicable legal regulations. - Monitor and report safety indicators (frequency, severity, accident rate) to operations and management. - Provide direct advisory support to supervisors and workers, promoting safe practices through active field presence. - Ensure compliance with HSEC standards and BHP-specific requirements. Required Profile - Education: Bachelor's degree in Risk Prevention Engineering. - Experience (mandatory) *Minimum 3 years of experience in BHP operations (MEL or Spence). *Experience in field advisory roles (not managerial positions). - Certification: Valid SNS registration and/or valid SERNAGEOMIN Category B certification. Key Knowledge and Requirements - Proficiency in HSEC management systems and BHP standards. - Experience with IPER matrices and critical risk control. - Familiarity with client platforms. - Knowledge of current legal regulations (Law 16.744 and associated decrees). - Health condition compatible with work at high geographic altitude. - Availability to work on shift schedules.
