Main functions and responsibilities* Responsible for providing technical support to the sales team on pumping applications and solutions related to the WSS segment * Accompany technical visits and sales management for the respective market. * Knowledge of XYLEM's products in order to offer complete solutions to each customer, integrating other business areas. * Support the preparation of price lists and quotations with suppliers that help enhance the value proposition of the WSS segment Main activities* Carry out activities in compliance with customer and Xylem safety regulations, as well as maintaining impeccable behavior according to Xylem’s code of conduct. * Conduct field visits to customers as required by the sales force. * Maintain quotation records and track pipeline/monthly forecast. * Support the preparation of product price lists and technical specifications. * Promote different solutions from Xylem’s portfolio with focus on the WSS segment according to the company's strategic objectives. * Prepare and present technical and economic proposals to customers if necessary. * Deliver product presentations. * Present initiatives that help increase WSS team sales. * Coordinate and lead communications with different internal departments according to sales team requests (operations, national procurement, ESH, etc.). * Participate in commercial events to generate new contacts and business opportunities. * Participate in Watermark activities throughout the year. * Submit expense reports promptly and in accordance with company policies. Requirements Required Experience* Engineer with university education who has taken courses related to hydraulics and fluid mechanics, with demonstrable foundational knowledge. * Candidates should show potential interest in developing consultative sales knowledge and commercial skills in pumping applications and complementary technologies. * Recent engineering graduate, for Junior Pumping Applications Engineer positions. * 2\-4 years in roles related to technical calculation support, for semi-senior Applications Engineer positions; knowledge of pumping equipment and hydraulics, experience in similar companies within the centrifugal pump industry. * Will work on-site at the Antofagasta branch. * Availability to travel: Yes, customer visits 20% of the time * Languages: Intermediate English desired. * Other skills and requirements: Class B Driver's License Join the global Xylem team to be a part of innovative technology solutions transforming water usage, conservation, and re\-use.
