Position Overview Axibei Solutions is seeking an experienced and strategic **Procurement Manager** to lead procurement and sourcing activities supporting our mining\-sector operations and technology projects. The successful candidate will oversee supplier relationships, strategic sourcing, contract negotiations, purchasing processes, cost management, and procurement performance while ensuring quality, compliance, and timely delivery. Key Responsibilities * Develop and execute procurement strategies aligned with business and project objectives. * Lead strategic sourcing and supplier\-selection activities. * Manage supplier relationships, performance, negotiations, contracts, and service levels. * Negotiate pricing, payment terms, delivery schedules, warranties, and commercial conditions. * Oversee purchase orders, procurement workflows, and supplier documentation. * Analyze procurement costs and identify opportunities for cost reduction and process improvement. * Coordinate with finance, operations, technology, project management, and mining\-sector stakeholders. * Monitor supplier performance, delivery timelines, quality, and compliance. * Identify supply\-chain risks and develop alternative sourcing and contingency strategies. * Manage procurement budgets, forecasts, and purchasing KPIs. * Review and approve procurement documentation in accordance with company policies. * Support contract development, renewals, amendments, and supplier agreements. * Ensure procurement activities comply with applicable Chilean laws, regulations, and internal requirements. * Lead and mentor procurement personnel and establish effective purchasing procedures. * Prepare procurement reports, supplier evaluations, cost analyses, and management presentations. * Promote ethical, transparent, sustainable, and value\-driven procurement practices. Required Qualifications * **Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Mining Engineering, or a related field.** * **5\+ years of progressive experience in procurement, strategic sourcing, purchasing, or supply chain management.** * Demonstrated experience managing procurement teams, suppliers, contracts, and complex purchasing activities. * Strong knowledge of strategic sourcing, supplier evaluation, negotiation, and contract management. * Proven ability to manage procurement budgets and achieve cost\-saving objectives. * Strong understanding of supply\-chain risk management and procurement performance metrics. * Excellent analytical, financial, organizational, and problem\-solving skills. * Strong leadership and stakeholder\-management abilities. * Excellent written and verbal communication skills. * Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP/procurement management systems. Preferred Qualifications * Experience in the **mining, technology, engineering, industrial, or resource\-management sectors**. * Experience managing procurement for mining equipment, technology solutions, software, services, or industrial supplies. * Knowledge of Chilean mining\-industry procurement practices. * Experience with international suppliers and cross\-border procurement. * Familiarity with ERP and procurement platforms such as SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, or equivalent. * Professional certification such as **CPSM, CIPS, CSCP, or equivalent** is an advantage. * Knowledge of sustainable sourcing and supplier ESG practices. * Experience with data analytics and procurement performance dashboards.
