What will you do in this role?: BancoEstado seeks a Lawyer with experience in supplier contracts and personal data protection to join the Supplier Group and Financial Innovation. Your main responsibilities will be: * Legal support in procurement and purchasing: Provide legal assistance in managing the acquisition of goods and contracting of services required for BancoEstado’s operations, its subsidiaries, and support companies, including drafting and reviewing tender documents, service contracts, and technology contracts. * Analysis of legal requirements: Review and analyze requests from various banking units and departments of BancoEstado, verifying compliance with applicable laws, formal requirements, and background information. * Drafting legal reports related to such requests. * Analyzing and interpreting regulations related to procurement, issuing legal opinions on their application, and advising various BancoEstado departments on actions within the legal framework. * Participating in meetings, committees, and boards, delivering in-person legal advice regarding cases, projects, and organizational strategic decisions. * Reviewing and authorizing tender documents, contracts, minutes, and other instruments necessary to sustain BancoEstado’s procurement processes. * Providing legal support in implementing the reform to Law 19\.628, reviewing Records of Processing Activities (RAT), identifying regulatory gaps, advising on mechanisms to exercise rights, contractual clauses, data retention periods, and validating internal and external policies. To succeed in this position, you need: * A professional law degree (mandatory). * Minimum one year of experience in similar roles.
