Job Summary:
Responsible for verifying compliance with quality attributes of equipment and supporting continuous process improvement and ISO certifications.

**Purpose:**
To verify compliance with the quality attributes of equipment marketed by KSB Chile S.A., preventing errors, defects, and quality-related failures at all operational stages and prior to customer delivery.
To support the maintenance of certifications such as ISO (9001, 14001, 45001\) and continuous process improvement.**Responsibilities:****Operational Management*** Develop and implement inspection plans for products throughout all service process stages.
* Perform quality control and assurance by verifying compliance with specified requirements through: document review, visual inspection, or — when required — measurements and/or tests and inspections on manufactured or repaired parts and/or components, as stipulated in the inspection and test plans.
* Authorize equipment release to the customer or reject it if it fails to meet defined quality criteria.
* Safeguard and share with relevant stakeholders the records associated with validations performed during procurement, receipt, service, and production processes.
**Document Management \- IMS*** Support the review and updating of documentation related to processes under your responsibilities (instructions and forms). Ensure such documentation is uploaded to the IMS platform.
* Ensure external suppliers performing tests and inspections on components maintain permanently updated procedures (where applicable).
* Conduct training related to quality management and IMS for technical staff (when required).
**Non-Conformance and Complaint Management*** Identify, document, and report Non-Conforming Outputs (NCOs) and quality-related non-conformities associated with equipment and/or related processes.
* Follow up on implementation of corrective actions required for resolution and closure of complaints, non-conforming outputs, and non-conformities.
* Continuously inform commercial and operational areas, as applicable, of the conformity status of performed verifications and inspections.
* Participate in audits of strategic suppliers, evaluating items related to Quality.
**Continuous Improvement*** Identify opportunities for improvement in processes and work methods.
**Supplier Management*** Evaluate and monitor supplier performance in the Production area from a quality perspective.
**General Responsibilities*** Carry out all tasks related to achieving the objectives defined for this position and those established annually.
* Know and comply with environmental, occupational health, and safety regulations and policies (IMS).
* Perform activities associated with the role of internal auditor for management systems.
* Maintain confidentiality of all information accessed during the performance of assigned duties and tasks.
**Job Requirements:*** Mechanical Civil Engineering degree, or equivalent.
* Minimum 1 year of experience in inspections and quality control.
* Knowledge of hydraulic pumps and valves (desirable).
* Knowledge of metrology.
* Knowledge of non-destructive testing (desirable).
* Familiarity with ISO 9001\ standard.
* Knowledge of management system audit techniques.
* Statistical handling and data analysis skills.
* Knowledge of Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and continuous improvement methodologies: Kaizen, Six Sigma, PDCA cycle, Lean, 5S, among others.
