




An international holding company requires, for its LATAM headquarters, a Proposal Engineer to work within the commercial area, whose main mission will be managing economic proposal activities, costing, budget preparation, and ensuring maximum profitability in offers submitted for public and private tenders. Responsibilities: a) Manage economic proposal activities, budget preparation, quotations and tenders for clients, ensuring maximum profitability of these proposals, quality and efficiency in the works and services offered, as well as maintaining the competitiveness of the proposals. b) Ensure timely and accurate delivery of proposals, Gantt charts, and associated technical reports to clients. c) Participate in daily planning meetings to provide relevant information regarding the proposals area. d) Coordinate with various company teams and management areas on the proposals in which they participate, actual associated costs, processes and delivery or execution times of goods or services offered, availability of necessary inputs to execute the proposals, and achievement of objectives established in the company's marketing strategies and plans. e) Prepare cost reports, operational budgets, quotation analyses, specifications, schedules, and technical reports for internal company use as well as those issued to clients, taking special care that they are complete, feasible, and technically appropriate. f) Develop and propose internal procedures for the proper functioning of the department, evaluate and control the operational costs of mechanical maintenance activities for all equipment and machinery entering the Workshop. g) Operate management systems such as SFDC and SAP, and continuously measure KPIs (performance indicators) as defined by the company. h) Request product and service quotations to achieve agreements with suppliers during client proposal generation. Job Requirements: * Higher-level mechanical technician, commercial engineer with experience in the field, or equivalent. * Advanced proficiency in MS Office programs. * Knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and OHSAS 18001. * Safety Induction (DS 40 Art. 21) * SGI Induction (quality, environment, and safety) * Proactivity, problem-solving ability, sound judgment and initiative in problematic situations, good interpersonal skills, effective communication, high willingness to work in teams and across departments.
