Our core values are the foundation that make us successful for ourselves, our customers and the planet. **Job Description** **Albemarle** is hiring for the La Negra site in Antofagasta, on administrative shift, for a **Continuous Improvement Engineer** **What You’ll Do** * Design processes and improvements jointly with leaders of each process, ensuring changes and improvements are standardized across processes. * Communicate, disseminate, and validate the continuous improvement model and management tools, ensuring knowledge transfer and application in people’s daily work. * Ensure communication and dissemination strategies for the continuous improvement model and management tools, ensuring knowledge transfer and application in people’s daily work. * Ensure development of continuous improvement projects aligned with the general needs, strengths, and weaknesses of the areas involved, training local leaders and their teams in continuous improvement tools. This drives cost optimization, reduction of competency and behavioral gaps. * Ensure adherence to management methodologies and tools per organizational strategy, and lead improvement initiative management—evaluating organizational progress and maturity against the continuous improvement model. **What You Bring** **Required:** * Chemical Engineering, Metallurgical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Civil Engineering, or related degree. * Advanced proficiency in Office 365 (Power BI, Excel, SharePoint) * Knowledge of industrial chemical processes, management indicator statistics, critical process variables and costs, operational excellence methodologies and tools. * Minimum 2 years of experience in similar roles. **Preferred:** * Class B Driver’s License. (Desirable) * Intermediate English (able to read text and understand conversations).
