Job Summary: We are seeking a Welder to perform welding and structural component fabrication for equipment and heavy machinery, ensuring quality, operational continuity, and safety. Heavy machinery repair and structural fabrication We are looking for a **Welder** to perform welding and structural component fabrication for equipment and heavy machinery, ensuring repair quality, operational continuity, and compliance with safety standards. Key Responsibilities: ✅ Perform arc welding, MIG welding, and other applicable workshop techniques. ✅ Repair buckets of heavy machinery and components subject to wear. ✅ Carry out structural repairs on truck hoppers and mining equipment. ✅ Perform oxy-cutting, torching, and plasma cutting. ✅ Operate semi-automatic cutting equipment (frog cutter). ✅ Fabricate metal structures, grinding wheels, and components required for operations. ✅ Assess and prepare materials for repair and fabrication processes. ✅ Maintain order and cleanliness in the work area and equipment used. ✅ Complete checklists, records, and documentation associated with performed tasks. Requirements: ✔ Welder certification issued by a recognized institution. ✔ Minimum 5 years of industrial welding experience. ✔ Knowledge and experience in arc welding, MIG welding, oxy-cutting, plasma cutting, and torching. ✔ Safe handling of welding tools and equipment. ✔ Fire extinguisher training course. ✔ First aid training course (desirable). ✔ Experience in heavy machinery and metal structure repair.
