Given our continuous awarding of new projects, we invite you to join our team as a “Crane Operator”, whose primary objective is to operate heavy machinery following instructions from immediate supervisors and contract administrators, complying with established safety standards and work procedure measures. Main Responsibilities: 1) Responsible for the safe handling and operation of light and heavy vehicles: pickup truck, crane truck, and water tanker truck, holding internal and municipal driving licenses Class B, A5, A4, A3, A2 (including A2 Law 18.290), and D. 2) Performs equipment cleaning and control tasks using checklists. 3) Supports logistics and site service activities. 4) Occasionally performs flagger duties to control equipment movements within the work area or site; also authorized to perform construction assistant or site assistant duties as required by the project or work area. 5) Must apply and comply with company regulations, procedures, instructions, rules, and other documents—including those provided by the client—regarding occupational health and safety (OHS). 6) Executes loading/unloading activities, material removal, load lifting operations, and ensures lifting accessories and tools are in good condition through pre-activity checklist application. Ensures transported loads are properly secured, without risk of injury to third parties or damage to other equipment during transport and loading. 7) Provides support to competent activities requested by the supervisor and/or field manager. 8) Complies with and ensures compliance with equipment safety and operational conditions by adhering to operational protocols, thereby ensuring process continuity with minimal impact on costs and the environment. 9) Prepares equipment requiring maintenance for repair and subsequent acceptance, closure, and return to service in accordance with safety standards, to ensure timely execution of predictive, preventive, and corrective maintenance planning for the unit. 10) Records all relevant operational events and provides detailed, clear, and accurate shift handover to maintain up-to-date equipment status and positioning, minimizing operational deviations. 11) Must pay special attention to inspection of critical tools and equipment, such as lifting elements (hoists, slings, shackles, rigging hardware, etc.), crane trucks, cranes, ramps, etc. Each time one of these items is used, a record must be made in existing formats designated for this purpose. 12) Reports defects, failures, unsafe or substandard conditions in tools or facilities—potentially causing injury to personnel or damage to equipment and installations—to direct or indirect supervisors. 13) Must actively participate in ART/AST verification prior to each work shift, as well as verify generated checklists. Reports deviations and requests corrections from the operations department. 14) Complies with the Internal Regulations on Order, Hygiene, and Safety. 15) Must diligently use and enforce mandatory use of personal protective equipment (PPE) for themselves and their assigned personnel. 16) Ensures order and cleanliness of facilities using available resources. 17) Actively participates in current Safety, Occupational Health, and Environmental topics applicable both within the company and at the client’s site, to prevent accidents, injuries, and negative environmental impacts, and to comply with local regulations. Responds to undesirable events in accordance with legal requirements and organizational guidelines related to ethics and policies. 18) Reports all incidents and hazards affecting people, equipment, environment, or property to supervisors. 19) Complies with QHSSE regulations, PPE usage, and current procedures. 20) Actively participates in QHSSE- or SGI-related talks, trainings, and drills. 21) Rigorously applies operational control tools (checklists, ART, talks). 22) Maintains workplace order, cleanliness, and proper care of equipment, tools, and PPE. 23) Verifies that all vehicle documentation remains valid and readily available at any time.
