About the Role: Antofagasta is a gateway to mining innovation and technology in Chile, and at Lebcloud Latin America SpA, we apply that same pioneering drive to cloud infrastructure. We build enterprise-grade cloud solutions that keep businesses agile, secure, and always online. We believe IT support need not be transactional or distant—it must be proactive and empowering. We seek a Cloud Support Technician (m/f/x) who can take ownership of supporting our technical infrastructure. You won’t just close tickets; you’ll ensure business continuity and define the support experience. You will serve as the primary technical bridge for our cloud environments, transforming complex technical issues into seamless solutions. You are the user’s technical advocate in a world of distributed systems.
Why Join Us? The Environment: Our operations in Antofagasta place you at the heart of technical advancement. We value a workplace and culture that foster collaboration, modern tools, and continuous technical evolution. Cloud Maturity: We don’t need convincing that robust infrastructure matters—we already know. From day one, you’ll have direct impact on our core systems and customer success. Modern Stack: We work exclusively with industry-standard cloud ecosystems (AWS, Azure, GCP) and modern virtualization stacks, speaking the language of modern IT operations. Growth: You’ll have access to continuous learning opportunities, technical certifications, and career advancement paths in engineering.
Key Responsibilities: Incident and Request Management: Handle Level 1 and Level 2 support tickets, diagnosing and resolving complex issues related to cloud infrastructure and virtual servers. Monitoring and Optimization: Proactively monitor system performance, resource utilization, and network health across our cloud deployments to prevent outages. Automation and Maintenance: Optimize routine operational tasks, backups, and system updates using modern scripting and automation tools. Documentation and Knowledge Base: Create clear technical documentation, troubleshooting guides, and standard operating procedures for future incidents. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with engineering and development teams to escalate deep architectural issues and implement permanent solutions.
What We’re Looking For: Experience: 1–3 years of hands-on experience in IT support, systems administration, or cloud infrastructure management. Technical Foundation: A technical or university degree in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, Networking, or a related field. Cloud and OS Knowledge: Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud) and strong proficiency in Linux and Windows Server environments. Problem-Solving Mindset: Analytical thinker with a systematic approach to problem solving and a strong customer-service orientation. Communication Skills: Clear communication in Spanish, with the ability to explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Salary: $1\.200\.000 \- $1\.800\.000 per month
Work Location: Hybrid in Antofagasta, Antofagasta
