We are currently seeking a **Second Painter Foreman** for a major mining project located in the Antofagasta region. **Conditions:** * Shift: 5x2 * Site: La Negra, Antofagasta. * Contract Type: Fixed-term. **Objective:** Support the execution of industrial coating application work on metallic structures and equipment, complying with technical specifications, quality standards, and established project safety procedures. **Responsibilities:** * Support the preparation of industrial paints according to technical data sheets and manufacturer procedures. * Apply epoxy, polyurethane, and Novolac coatings under supervision. * Operate Airless equipment per instructions from the First Painter Foreman or Supervisor. * Prepare surfaces via manual or mechanical cleaning using Rotopin tools where applicable. * Verify environmental conditions before and during paint application. * Assist in controlling wet film thickness (WFT) and dry film thickness (DFT). * Perform basic cleaning and maintenance of application equipment. * Support the installation and removal of protective barriers and work areas. * Comply with safety, quality, and environmental procedures. **Requirements:** * Completed Secondary Education / Mechanical Technician / Construction Technician * 1 year of experience applying industrial epoxy and polyurethane paints. * Knowledge of specialty industrial paints. * Basic knowledge of surface profile roughness measurement.
