Connect with a career that matters, and help us build a safer future. **Department Overview** ----------------------- Support Engineering **Job Description** ------------------- **General Purpose of the Role:** Ensure operational continuity of on-site technical services through rigorous scheduling planning and coordination with mining clients, supporting on-site information management via development of control tools and measurement of operational metrics. **Responsibilities and Duties:** * **On-Site Planning and Control:** Schedule and strictly monitor all technical activities executed on-site, ensuring adherence to project milestones. * **Information Management and Control:** Administer and maintain up-to-date data flows, schedules, and technical dashboards, ensuring full traceability of operations. * **Coordination with Critical Stakeholders:** Serve as the direct communication channel and key liaison between the internal operations team and the client’s mine superintendencies or service owners. * **Logistical and Administrative Governance:** Timely manage personnel accreditation, accommodation, meals, and weekly transportation requirements to the mine site. * **Platform Upgrade Support:** Actively collaborate during technology upgrade and operating system migration periods, minimizing impact on service continuity. **Basic Requirements** ---------------------- **Essential Requirements** * **Academic Qualification:** Technical or engineering degree in Management Control, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field with strong analytical orientation. * **Proficiency in Productivity Tools:** Advanced use of spreadsheet tools (Google Sheets / Microsoft Excel) and collaborative environments (Google Drive) for daily reporting. * **Technology Platform Management:** Knowledge or prior experience operating corporate incident and request management systems, specifically ServiceNow. * **Availability for On-Site Deployments:** Ability to fulfill the weekly on-site deployment schedule at mining operations and adapt to extended working hours due to travel time. * **Methodical Approach and Attention to Detail:** Analytical capability and perfectionist focus on process tracking—essential for safeguarding sensitive information and resolving logistical bottlenecks. **Travel Requirements** ----------------------- Under 10% **Relocation Provided** ----------------------- None **Position Type** ----------------- Experienced **Referral Payment Plan** ------------------------- Yes ***EEO Statement*** Motorola Solutions is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
