Position Objective Ensure efficient management of thermal power generation processes in Mejillones and Tocopilla by optimizing operational parameters, measuring the impact of implemented improvements, and safeguarding asset performance through data-driven management and industry best practices. Key Responsibilities * Lead and organize tests in thermal power generation processes to optimize operating parameters and quantify the impact of improvements on assets. * Propose and monitor optimizations, identifying deviations and suggesting alternatives in response to detected variabilities at assigned sites. * Develop and report thermal generation KPIs, collaborating with operational teams in interpreting indicators such as availability, efficiency, and SSCC. * Propose and coordinate best practices in generation processes, ensuring asset performance, health, and operational risk management. * Collaborate with Reliability, Planning, and Maintenance teams in the comprehensive management of thermal processes. Requirements * Chemical, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering degree focused on combustion processes. * Minimum 5 years of experience in thermal power generation (gas and coal). * Intermediate proficiency in Power BI, SAP, and Office 365. * Knowledge of ISO 55001 and ISO 50001\. * Intermediate English proficiency and a valid driver's license.
