Recognized as the global benchmark for quality and integrity, we have more than 93,000 employees and a network of over 2,600 offices and laboratories worldwide. **Job Description** **Objectives:** Responsible for the mechanical preparation of reference materials, packaging, storage and control of use and distribution in testing rooms. **Responsibilities:** * Receive material delivered by user departments and verify delivery condition (weight, identification, particle size, packaging). * Mechanical preparation of reference material including homogenization and size reduction. * Responsible for following quality, safety and environmental protection standards. * Apply SGS instructions and procedures appropriately to carry out activities. * Responsible for sampling and performing tests on assigned products. * Perform control, review, weighing, verification and checking tasks when required. * Responsible for completing records associated with field activities. * Ensure proper operation of equipment and associated records. * Use personal protective equipment and all materials necessary to perform activities safely and with quality. **Requirements** **Title:** * Technical degree from professional institutes in Chemistry or Chemical Plant Operations, * Metallurgical technician. 2 years of experience handling sample preparation equipment, sample dividers, homogenizers, sieves, pelletizers. **Knowledge:** * Sampling theory * Excel template.
