Functional Manager at the Viborg Court
A position as **court assessor with functional responsibility as Head of the Enforcement Court** **at the Viborg Court** is vacant, to be filled from 1 March 2026 or as soon as possible thereafter. The Viborg Court is one of Denmark’s 24 district courts. We have approximately 60 employees, including 9 judges and about 8 court assessors and judicial assistants. The Viborg Court is organised into four departments: the Court Department, the Probate Court, the Enforcement Court, and the Joint Secretariat/Administration. The Enforcement Court currently employs approximately 12 staff members, comprising office personnel, students, and judicial assistants. As Functional Manager, you will assume daily management responsibilities for the Enforcement Court in collaboration with a department head trained in office administration. You will also participate in the daily handling of all types of cases within the Enforcement Court. Additionally, you will participate one day per week in the handling of civil and criminal cases. Daily case handling constitutes the principal part of your duties. **The Functional Manager’s key responsibilities include, among others:** * Ensuring professional quality and knowledge sharing within the department * Responsibility for the Enforcement Court’s overall work planning * Supporting employee well-being and competence development * Allocating work tasks and resources within the department * Preparing action plans and establishing departmental objectives * Participating in the court’s leadership meetings and management days Furthermore, we offer a workday featuring strong professional development opportunities within a positive working environment, where emphasis is placed on knowledge sharing, efficiency, and collective well-being. Remote work is possible for approximately one day per week. **Salary and terms of employment** The court assessor position is classified under salary scale 36. A number of allowances are linked to this position. The current total monthly salary (as of the 1 November 2025 level) amounts to DKK 64,473.
